Bicycle Club and Group Ride

A group bike ride leaving Brooks Park on Oak Street (next to Monomoy Regional High School) at 1:00 p.m. We are calling this weekly ride "Bicycle Club", and it's geared toward people who maybe haven't been on a bicycle in a while. It's a "no-drop ride", which means nobody gets left behind! The ride is open to anyone with a working bicycle and a helmet. We are hoping younger riders join older riders for a ride along the beautiful Cape Cod Rail Trail and Old Colony Rail Trail.

Seventh Annual SandwichFest

This year's street festival will be held on Water Street (Route 130) stretching from Town Hall Square to the Hoxie House. Approximately 75 Juried Arts and Crafts, food and local non-profit organizations will take part in the event. The "Best Sandwich in Sandwich" tent will be located at the Hoxie House along with a "Beer and Wine Garden". Kennedy Legacy Trail

LOCATION: Brochures and maps will be available at the JFK Museum on MainStreet, Hyannis 
Celebrates the significant role the Kennedy¹s played in shaping the history of Hyannis and Cape Cod. The 1.6 mile trail consists of 10 informational signs that are placed at key locations from Main Street to the harbor, finishing up at the JFK Memorial at Veteran¹s Beach Each stop provides a brief history of the site and its significance to the Kennedy¹s and their life on Cape Cod. Visitors along the trail can retrieve additional information by accessing the QR code or dialing the number on each sign. Follow the blue sail stencils on the sidewalks leading the way to each stop.

There are over 300 plants in the one-third acre that comprises the garden, which consists naturally of three zones: shaded hillside, wetlands and sunny meadow. All plants were chosen to ensure color and interest throughout the growing season. This is a drop in program, and advance registration is not required. The fee is $5 for non-members, $3 for members.

A sales and studio venue located in Orleans on Cape Cod, in a park-like art filled setting, is seeking artists and artisans inspired by the beauty of Cape Cod and it’s arts traditions. Applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Season…Weekends during the Spring and Fall Shoulder Seasons as well as Weeks in the Summer. We are seeking high quality work in all media. Take a walk through history on this self-guided tour of sites in downtown Hyannis that are significant to the Kennedy family. At each of the 10 sites, informational signs and links to video and audio information uncovers stories & history about the Kennedys on Cape Cod. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands is the only one-to-one youth mentoring organization serving the Cape & Islands.
